Who we are
QING XIU JI (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a Su embroidery studio based in Suzhou, China, running the online store at https://gusuxiu.com. We create handmade pet portrait embroidery, made to order from the photographs you send us. What we collect
- Order and delivery information: your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number and any note you add at checkout.
- Custom order material: the pet photos and reference images you upload or send us. We use these only to produce your embroidery.
- Account information: if you create an account, your name, email address and order history.
- Payment information: payments are processed by PayPal on their secure pages. We receive confirmation of payment and a transaction reference, but we never receive or store your full card number.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and cart activity, collected through cookies.
How we use your information
- to produce, ship and deliver your order;
- to send order confirmations, production updates and delivery notices;
- to answer your questions and provide customer support;
- to detect and prevent fraud, abuse and payment disputes;
- to meet our tax, accounting and other legal obligations;
- to improve our website, products and service.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your pet photographs for advertising or share them publicly without your permission.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who need it to perform a service for us:
- PayPal — payment processing;
- Our hosting provider — secure website hosting, email and backups;
- Shipping carriers and postal services — delivery of your order;
- Messaging and email services — order notifications and customer support.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or to protect our legal rights.

Our store uses cookies to keep your cart and checkout session working, to remember your preferences, and to understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; please note that blocking essential cookies may stop checkout from working.
How long we keep your data
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Photographs and files you send for a custom piece are kept while we produce and support your order, and are deleted on request once your order is complete.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California — you may have the right to:
- request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing;
- withdraw your consent to marketing at any time.

International transfers
We are based in China and work with service providers in other countries. Where your data is transferred outside your own country, we take reasonable steps to ensure it stays protected.
